Are you a thrillseeker looking for all the Disneyland Paris best rides? This list will cover all the Disneyland Paris best roller coasters you won’t want to miss!
Disneyland Paris is known for being a magical place, but it has a good selection of exciting and thrilling attractions, too!
From the Disneyland Park to Walt Disney Studios, let’s talk about all the Disneyland Paris best rides for thrillseekers!
This post is an ultimate guide to the Disneyland Paris best rides for thrillseekers.
Disneyland Paris Best Rides List For Thrillseekers
1) Avengers Assemble: Flight Force
Height Restriction: 1.20m +
Highlights: Thrilling roller coaster with loops
Location: Marvel Avengers Campus, Walt Disney Studios
Are you ready to join Iron Man and Captain Marvel to save the world on this wild roller coaster?!
I’m not a Marvel expert or superfan, but I can say that this is an enjoyable roller coaster in general.
This was formerly Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster (which fit in far better with the theme of Walt Disney Studios; though this park is now just a place for Disney to put their more recently popular IPs).
Whilst I believe that Avengers Campus is the most bland area of Disneyland Paris, this roller coaster is truly great – and one of the most intense roller coasters you’ll find here.
This is one of three roller coasters that goes upside down, so keep that in mind, if you want to avoid roller coasters with loops.
I will say that Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at Epcot (another Marvel roller coaster that opened recently) feels a little more technologically advanced, but this is still a great roller coaster.
2) Crush’s Coaster
Height Restriction: 1.07m +
Highlights: Dark roller coaster with small drops and spinning
Location: Worlds of Pixar, Walt Disney Studios
This wonderfully themed roller coaster invites guests to join Crush, the laid-back sea turtle from Disney Pixar’s “Finding Nemo,” on a fun adventure through the ocean.
Board your turtle shell-shaped ride vehicle and get ready to hang on tight as you twist, turn, and spin through underwater scenes filled with vibrant marine life.
Whether you’re a fan of “Finding Nemo” or just looking for an adrenaline-pumping thrill ride, Crush’s Coaster is a must-visit attraction for any thrillseeker visiting Disneyland Paris.
Please note that despite its kid-friendly theming, this roller coaster is more intense than you might think. (Speaking from experience, I was terrified of this ride as a kid!)
Most of the ride takes place in the dark, and although there aren’t loops, there is some spinning, small drops and it is pretty fast.
3) Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril
Height Restriction: 1.40m +
Highlights: Outdoor roller coaster with loops
Location: Adventureland, Disneyland Park
Gear up for an unforgettable expedition into the heart of adventure with Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, one of Disneyland Paris’s most thrilling attractions!
This is another of Disneyland Paris’ three roller coasters with loops, but this is the only one of those attractions that is located outside.
Because of this, I don’t think the theming is as immersive. That being said, you are being chased out of a jungle, so it makes perfect sense for it to be located outside. Additionally, Adventureland is a great setting for this storyline.
4) RC Racer
Height Restriction: 1.20m
Highlights: Outside ride, 25m tall half-pipe roller coaster
Location: Toy Story Playland, Worlds of Pixar, Walt Disney Studios
This high-speed coaster lets you take a seat in a remote-controlled car (controlled by Woody and Buzz)!
As you board your RC car, prepare to be launched skyward on a towering half-pipe track, reaching heights of up to 25 meters! Feel the rush of acceleration as you zoom up and down the track, experiencing weightlessness, and stomach-flipping drops with every twist and turn.
Once again, the theming for this ride is pretty basic by historical Disney standards, but it’s still a good ride.
So, are you ready to buckle up, hold on tight, and get ready to blast off to infinity and beyond through the skies with RC Racer at Disneyland Paris?!
5) Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain
Height Restriction: 1.20m +
Highlights: Roller Coaster with Loops
Location: Discoveryland, Disneyland Park
Embark on an epic journey to another galaxy with Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain. Nestled in Discoveryland, this iconic roller coaster fuses the classic Space Mountain experience with the epic saga of Star Wars.
With its high-speed drops, intense turns, and loops, Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain delivers a thrilling experience that’s out of this world.
As I mentioned in my last post, The Ultimate Top 10 Best Disneyland Paris Rides You Can’t Miss On Your Next Trip in 2024, this is considered to be the worst version of this ride (compared to the last two versions at Disneyland Paris). That being said, it’s a good roller coaster and is probably the “scariest” ride at the Disneyland Paris park.
May the Force be with you if you take on Hyperspace Mountain at Disneyland Paris!
6) The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
Height Restriction: 1.02m +
Highlights: Dark ride with large drops
Location: Production Courtyard, Walt Disney Studios
Step into the eerie elegance of the Hollywood Tower Hotel and brace yourself for one of the most terrifying elevator rides ever!
This haunting attraction takes guests on a journey into the unknown, inspired by the classic television series, The Twilight Zone.
As you enter the foreboding lobby of the Hollywood Tower Hotel, you’ll be transported back in time to the glamorous Golden Age of Hollywood.
But beware, as you board the cursed elevator and ascend to the top floor, your fate hangs in the balance. Suddenly, the doors creak open, revealing breathtaking views of the park before falling many stories.
Whilst, this ride is not quite as good as Disney World’s, it is still extremely thrilling.
But, it’s important to note that this ride is known for causing sickness.
7) Big Thunder Mountain
Height Restriction: 1.02m +
Highlights: Fast roller coaster with small drops
Location: Frontierland, Disneyland Park
Get ready for a wild ride through the wilderness on Big Thunder Mountain – one of the best rides at Disneyland Paris! Located in Frontierland, this iconic roller coaster provides guests with a chance to experience an incredible journey aboard a runaway mine train.
As you board your mine cart and begin your ascent up the rocky slopes of Big Thunder Mountain, hold on tight as you navigate sharp turns, sudden drops, and thrilling dips. Feel the wind rush through your hair as you race through darkened tunnels, over unstable bridges, and past cascading waterfalls.
With its immersive theming, stunning scenery, and exhilarating twists and turns, Big Thunder Mountain offers a thrilling experience that’s ideal for thrillseekers and families alike.
Honourable Mention: Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop
Height Restriction: 1.20m
Highlights: Outdoor drop ride
Location: Toy Story Playland, Worlds of Pixar, Walt Disney Studios
This is like a less intense & themed, outdoor version of the Tower of Terror. Similarly to that iconic ride, Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop also provides some great views of Disneyland Paris. It’s not quite as thrilling as the other attractions on this list, but it’s more exhilirating than the slow rides found at Disneyland Paris.
It has some cute Toy Story soldier theming and is your traditional drop ride. It’s fun and is more appealing to younger guests than The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
