Many Disneyland Paris attractions that are open today opened with the original park in 1992.
In fact, the Disneyland Park has only seen a small handful of additions since its grand opening.
However, there are newer Disneyland Paris rides that opened decades after the park!

Disneyland Paris Attractions
New & Upcoming Disneyland Paris Attractions List
1) Avengers Assemble: Flight Force
Location: Marvel Avengers Campus, Walt Disney Studios (to be re-named Disney Adventure World)
Height Requirement: 1.2m +
Highlights: Thrilling roller coaster with inversions
Opening along with Marvel Avengers Campus on July 20th, 2022, this is technically not a new attraction; it is a re-theme of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.
Why would Disney re-theme this to a franchise people are becoming increasingly sick of? Who knows? – but that’s beside the point.
That being said, this is a pretty good roller coaster.
When riding Avengers Assemble: Flight Force, guests team up with Captain Marvel and Iron Man to save the world.
This roughly translates to “go on a roller coaster and doing nothing except having a blast” (hopefully!).
Please note that just like Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, this attraction does have loops, so some guests may want to sit this one out.
In that case, you may want to check out the other attraction at Marvel Avengers Campus instead …

2) Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure
Location: Marvel Avengers Campus, Walt Disney Studios (soon to be re-named Disney Adventure World)
Height Requirement: No height requirement
Highlights: Family-friendly game/attraction
The Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure is your chance to team up with Peter Parker himself.
Ever wondered what it’s like to sling webs and fight off threats? In this ride, you get the opportunity to!
Sadly, it sounds more exciting than it is. Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure is basically a glorified competitive ride where you shoot targets – like Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast. The difference is that you don;t use a laser blaster.
In the pre-show, Tom Holland shows you that to sling webs you literally use your hands!
Whilst this is quite innovative, there are definitely drawbacks. This is a screen-based attraction and requires the use of 3D glasses.
Whilst this might have been exciting in the 2000s (at the time Toy Story Mania opened at Disney World and Disneyland in California), it’s the 2020s.
Any ride opening now that makes you use 3D glasses is disappointing.
With rides like Rise of the Resistance at Galaxy’s Edge (at Disney World and Disneyland in California) and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway (at Disney World), this feels outdated.
Rise of the Resistance and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway are impressive screen-based attractions, which do *not* require you to use 3D glasses.
Walt Disney Studios is a small park – with a pretty modest number of attractions. And this is not the only screen-based attraction.
Ratatouille: The Adventure opened at Disneyland Paris in 2014, and is another screen-based attraction that requires the use of 3D glasses.
Overkill having both these attractions in one park? Kind of.
Whilst this is worth experiencing, I would not say it’s the most important new ride to try out … unless you really enjoy competing to get the highest score!
Disney also sells WEB Power Bands – which are supposed to enhance the experience of the ride. These bands start at around €40 – so yeah, that’s pretty crazy.
From what I’ve heard, this probably won’t be worth it for the vast majority of people. Especially casual Disneyland Paris visitors or Marvel fans.
Disneyland Paris Rides and Attractions Opening Soon (hopefully)
1) World of Frozen
Set to open in 2026, the long-awaited “Frozen Land” will be opening at Disney Adventure World.
Whilst details on this new land are in short supply to the public at the time of writing this post, we know that a version of Frozen Ever After will be added (similar to the one at Epcot at Disney World or Hong Kong).
There will also be a meet-and-greet opportunity to meet Elsa and Anna (and maybe other characters … but we will see!).
In late 2023, World of Frozen (the first Frozen land) opened at Hong Kong Disneyland, so we can assume (or hope) that Disneyland Paris’ version will be somewhat similar.
2) The Lion King Attraction
At D23 2024 in Anaheim, California, it was announced that there would be a new attraction based on The Lion King opening at Disney Adventure World.
This will be a water-ride (it looks like a log-flume, similar to Splash Mountain at Tokyo Disneyland or Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Disney World and Disneyland).
The attraction will re-tell the popular story and there will be a Pride Rock!
We don’t know when this attraction will be opening, but it’s pretty safe to say that it will be at least a few years away (this is modern-day Disney, after all).
Other Frequently Asked Questions about New & Upcoming Disneyland Paris Attractions
1) Do I need to buy separate tickets for these attractions?
Your standard Disneyland Paris ticket grants access to all attractions, including the new additions.
After you’ve bought Disneyland Paris tickets, you don’t have to pay extra to go on the attractions.
However, if you want to skip the lines, Disneyland Paris Premier Access Pass (the latest FastPass system) is an added expense.
2) Is advance booking necessary for these new rides and attractions at Disneyland Paris?
In general, this usually isn’t required.
However, if you’re trying to visit World of Frozen or The Lion King attraction on opening day, you’ll probably want to book your visit swiftly after the opening date is announced to guarantee your place in the park!
3) Can I find themed souvenirs at the park for these new attractions at Disneyland Paris?
Absolutely! Themed merchandise for new attractions is available in various park shops.
If you’re looking for Marvel merchandise, head on over to Mission Equipment at Marvel Avengers Campus.
I’m sure when World of Frozen opens, there will be a gift shop.
And maybe even a gift shop for The Lion King attraction (or at least more merchandise inspired by The Lion King in existing shops at Walt Disney World).
4) Are there dining options linked to these attractions?
Yes. Here are the dining locations at Avengers Campus:

We can (safely) predict that there will be Frozen and The Lion King food locations/items added to Disney Adventure World when these attractions open.
5) Are there any new attractions coming to Disneyland Park?
Not that we know of.
Disney seems to be investing FAR MORE into Disney Adventure World, which makes sense.
This is the smaller park with less attractions. It needs more investment.
Hopefully we’ll see newer attractions at Disneyland Park in the future – but it would be surprising if this happens before 2030.
