Top 10 Best Disneyland Paris Rides List
10) Les voyages de Pinocchio
Height Restriction: Any height
Highlights: Storytelling, slow ride
Location: Fantasyland, Disneyland Park
Les Voyages de Pinocchio offers an enchanting journey through the classic tale of Pinocchio.
Am I going to tell you this is the best ride ever created by Disney? No, absolutely not.
This was an opening day attraction at Disneyland Paris (on April 12th, 1992) – and, quite honestly, it’s showing its age.
Les Voyages de Pinocchio feels a little old, from the not-very-advanced animatronics to even the ride vehicles.
But strangely, this is what adds to the charm of this attraction.
The story of Pinocchio is hardly new, so it feels right that the ride doesn’t either.
You could argue that Blanche-Neige et les Sept Nains (the Disneyland Paris Snow White ride, located next to Les Voyages de Pinocchio) is more iconic, as Snow White was the first full-length animated movie.
That’s a fair point, but it’s important to note that the Snow White ride is one of the scariest rides at Disneyland Paris – when it comes to villains and jump scares (I still jump as an adult!).
9) Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure
Height Restriction: Any height
Highlights: Slinging webs and catching bots!
Location: Marvel Avengers Campus, Walt Disney Studios
Board your WEB Slinger vehicle and prepare to sling webs and catch bots – alongside Spider-Man! Equipped with innovative WEB Slinger technology, you’ll use your own reflexes and skills to help Spider-Man capture rogue Spider-Bots that have wreaked havoc across the city. It is essentially a modernised version of Toy Story Mania! at Disney World’s Hollywood Studios.
This ride has had mixed reactions from Disneyland Paris guests. Some people think it’s ingenious (as you catch the webs with your hands, instead of a space cannon, for example, on Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast).
On the other hand, others believe it’s a lazy attraction, as it is screen-based.
Both sides have valid points. It’s probably not a ride that you’ll need to experience again and again, but it is quite cool (and even better if you win!).
8) Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain
Height Restriction: 1.20m +
Highlights: Roller Coaster with Loops
Location: Discoveryland, Disneyland Park
Experience the ultimate thrill of space travel at Disneyland Paris with Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain! This iconic attraction combines the classic adrenaline rush of a roller coaster with the epic adventure of the Star Wars saga.
Before it was re-themed to Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, this roller coaster was originally Space Mountain: From the Earth to the Moon for its first 10 years.
Then, it was updated to Space Mountain: Mission 2, which became Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain in 2017.
I never got to ride the original Space Mountain, but I think the first two versions were more interesting. It could be argued that the current version is just a simple way of adding IP to the parks.
That being said, every time Disney changes this ride, it becomes progressively worse.
Regardless of this, Space Mountain will always be an iconic Disneyland Paris attraction.

7) Ratatouille: The Adventure
Height Restriction: Any height
Highlights: 4D ride where you shrink to the size of a rat!
Location: Worlds of Pixar, Walt Disney Studios
Step into the charming world of Pixar’s “Ratatouille” on this attraction, which invites guests on an immersive culinary adventure inspired by the animated film.
Shrink down to the size of a rat and join Remy, the lovable rodent chef, as he embarks on a whirlwind journey through the bustling kitchen of Gusteau’s restaurant. Board your vehicle (which looks like a rat!) and prepare for a wild ride through the sights, sounds, and smells of Paris.
Zoom through the streets of Paris, darting between larger-than-life props and oversized food items, as you evade the clutches of the bumbling Chef Skinner and his army of kitchen staff. With dazzling 3D effects and innovative trackless ride technology, Ratatouille: The Adventure offers a truly immersive experience that will delight guests of all ages.
While this is a good ride, it’s another screen-based attraction, making it arguably less exciting than rides with animatronics (which I will mention later on this list).
But as the park is based in France, it’s the perfect place to ride this.
A replica of this ride opened at Disney World – on its 50th anniversary – in the France Pavillion in Epcot. Here, the attraction is called ‘Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure’. These rides are almost identical, though the queue is slightly more interesting at Disney World.

6) The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
Height Restriction: 1.02m +
Highlights: Dark ride with large drops
Location: Production Courtyard, Walt Disney Studios
This iconic attraction invites brave guests to enter the eerie Hollywood Tower Hotel and experience the thrill of the unknown.
As you enter the foreboding lobby of the abandoned hotel, you’ll be transported back in time to the golden age of Hollywood.
But beware – something sinister lurks within the walls of the Tower of Terror. Board your service elevator and prepare for an experience like no other!
As you ascend to the hotel’s top floor, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the park before plummeting down into the depths of the Twilight Zone.
With multiple sudden drops, the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror offers an exhilarating experience that will leave you on the edge of your seat.
I’ve also been on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios at Disney World, and I will admit that Paris’ version is a little inferior in comparison.
But beware, this ride (like any fast ride) can cause sickness. This one can, in particular, thanks to the sudden drops – so you may want to keep that in mind.
5) Phantom Manor
Height Restriction: Any Height
Highlights: Haunted house
Location: Frontierland, Disneyland Park
This iconic attraction offers a hauntingly beautiful experience that combines mystery, suspense, and ghostly thrills.
Step inside the foreboding gates of the Ravenswood Manor and prepare to uncover the dark secrets that lie within. As you venture deeper into the decaying mansion, you’ll encounter restless spirits, cursed portraits and more.
Board your Doom Buggy and embark on a ghostly tour through the haunted halls of Phantom Manor.

After all, it is thought that the owner of the manor, Henry Ravenswood, is responsible for the disappearance of the four men interested in his daughter, Melanie.
This is essentially Paris’s version of the Haunted Mansion – with its own exciting storyline (though there are a couple overlapping scenes).
4) “it’s a small world”

Highlights: A boat journey “around the world”
Location: Fantasyland, Disneyland Park

I love Disney World’s version of this attraction, but Paris’s is objectively better (and a little more “thrilling”).
2) Crush’s Coaster

This unique roller coaster is a lot of fun, but please be aware that it is more intense than you may think. (Just to be clear, Crush’s Coaster is NOTHING like The Seas with Nemo & Friends at Epcot at Disney World).
If you’re prone to dizziness or sickness, this may not be the best ride for you, as it does spin slightly. (Though it isn’t constant like the teacups).
1) Big Thunder Mountain
Height Restriction: 1.02m +
Highlights: Fast roller coaster with small drops
Location: Frontierland, Disneyland Park
This well-loved attraction invites guests on an adventure on a runaway mine train!
Step aboard your mine train and hold on tight as you journey deep into the heart of the majestic Big Thunder Mountain. Speeding through twisting canyons, darkened tunnels, and crumbling caverns, you’ll encounter towering rock formations, cascading waterfalls, and spectacular scenic views of the frontier landscape.
But beware – this is no ordinary train ride! Along the way, you’ll encounter sudden drops, sharp turns, and thrilling surprises that will keep you on the edge of your seat. With its immersive theming, exhilarating twists and turns, and stunning special effects, Big Thunder Mountain offers a fun experience for the whole family.
Disneyland Paris’s version of Big Thunder Mountain is faster and a little more intense than Disney World’s.
