1. They’re adorable
This is the first thing you will probably notice when you see Disney Loungefly bags: they are ridiculously cute!
Whether they’re sequinned, or filled with your favourite Disney characters, you can’t help but fall in love with at least one (or, if you’re like me, enough to start a collection).
2. They offer different styles of bags
The most famous style may be the Disney Parks Loungefly Mini Backpacks, but they also have more to offer.
Let’s not forget, there isn’t a shortage of souvenirs in the Disney Parks. And the Disney Loungefly collection is no exception.
Here are the main styles of Loungefly bags you can often find in the Disney Parks:
- Mini Backpacks
- Belt Bags
- Crossbody Bags
They often sell matching “wallets” or purses (I’m English, so we call them “purses”).
Some Loungefly bags even have matching ears.
3. They are perfect for park bags
I use Disney Loungefly Mini Backpacks almost exclusively when I visit Disney World and Disneyland Paris.
I can easily fit everything I need:
- My phone
- My wallet/purse
- A water bottle (approximately 500ml)
- Sometimes my Minnie ears on rides – if I squash them slightly
- Lip balm and lip gloss (I know, important things)
- Mini perfume and sunscreen
Some Mini Backpacks are better than others. For example, this mini backpack has straps so you can secure your Minnie ears when you go on rides and attractions!

Belt bags are great if you can “travel light” each day to the parks. Plus, you don’t have to worry about bigger bags on rides and attractions.
And crossbody bags can be great as well, if you don’t take much with you to the parks.
4. You can get limited edition collectable Disney Parks Loungefly bags
I’m not condoning collecting Loungefly bags. It’s a very addictive and expensive hobby. Yes, I’m speaking from experience.
But, if you come to the conclusion that you want to start a collection (yes, also something I can relate to), there are some really great limited edition Loungefly bags.
5. You can often find them on sale
If you are someone who places a ShopDisney order before your Disney vacation, you might get a great deal.
It is common to find slightly older or less popular collections on ShopDisney for sometimes even more than 50% off. I’ve seen some Loungefly backpacks for under $30 on ShopDisney.
