It might not be time to deck the halls yet, but that doesn’t mean we can’t look at Disney World Christmas party dates for later this year!

Like any Disney vacation, it requires a lot of careful planning. And this is especially true during the Holiday Season.

If you are planning to go to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or Disney Jollywood Nights (assuming they take place in 2024), you will need to figure out the Disney World Christmas party dates that coincide with your visit.

Disney has recently announced the 2024 Christmas party dates for this year.

So, let’s start making our Disney World Christmas party plans! 🎄✨

Disney World Christmas Party Dates

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Since 1983, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has been held at the Magic Kingdom – and has become a tradition for many guests throughout the decades.

This party is infamous for its Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, snow on Main Street and “complimentary” hot cocoa and cookies (which tasted like Play-Doh in 2022, but have definitely improved in 2023! Let’s hope they’re still good in 2024 😂).

It is also a great opportunity to ride popular attractions (from the Jingle Cruise to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train) with shorter wait times.

2024 Ticket Prices for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets:

Adults (Ages 10+): $169-$219 per ticket + tax

Children (Ages 3-9): $159-$209 per ticket + tax

Annual Passholders and DVC Members can receive a $10 discount on these select nights:

November 8th
November 11th
November 12th
November 14th
November 15th
November 17th
November 19th
November 21st
November 22nd
December 1st
December 3rd
December 5th

For reference, in 2023, ticket prices for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets were:

Adults (Ages 10+): $159-$199 per ticket + tax

Children (Ages 3-9): $149 to $189 per ticket + tax

If you were an Annual Passholder or an eligible Disney Vacation Club Member (with a Blue Card), you could receive a $10 discount – on select nights in 2023.

Disney Jollywood Nights

In 2023, Disney Jollywood Nights – a new festive party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios – premiered.

And it’s coming back in 2024!

Whilst it was known for being chaotic and disorganized in the beginning, by the end of the holidays, this party was seen as a good event by many guests (including me).

Jollywood Nights is essentially Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party’s older sister. This party is focused on cool drinks and snacks, shows and glamour!

Just like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, you can also go on attractions with very short wait times (though you do have to pre-book Rise of the Resistance).

2024 Ticket Prices for Disney Jollywood Nights:

Disney Jollywood Nights tickets cost $159-$179 per ticket.

Annual Passholders and valid DVC members (with a Blue Card) can save $10 per ticket for every night of this event

In 2023, ticket prices for Disney Jollywood Nights were:

Interestingly, the 2024 tickets cost the same as the 2023 tickets (between $159-$179 for this event).

Perhaps this is because Disney Jollywood Nights is a lot newer (and not as popular as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party).

But it’s still interesting that Disney hasn’t increased the prices slightly. (After all, we all know how much Disney loves charging too much for special event tickets – and tickets in general).

Similarly to 2023, you are an Annual Passholder or an eligible Disney Vacation Club member, you can save $10 per ticket. This discount is valid for every night of this event.

It’s important to note that you don’t get any complimentary food or drinks at Disney Jollywood Nights – unlike Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. We can assume that this is at least partly why the tickets are cheaper.

20 of these dates fall on a weekday:

1 on a Monday
6 on a Tuesday
1 on a Wednesday
6 on a Thursday
6 on a Friday

The remaining 5 dates fall on a weekend – a Sunday, to be more specific. There were no dates on a Saturday.

This is especially important to know if you are planning a weekend trip to Disney World.

When do Disney World Christmas Party Tickets Go On Sale?

Guests staying on-site have been on sale since July 2nd, 2024.

For guests without a Disney World hotel reservation, you can purchase Disney World Christmas party tickets from July 10th, 2024.

Usually, Disney World releases tickets for their Christmas parties in late June – early July of that year, so 2024 hasn’t been an exception to this rule.
