It’s no secret that Disney World vacations can be expensive. But we have a list of awesome ways you can save money on your vacation.

From Disney World hotels to tickets to packages, let’s talk about the Disney World Summer offers, and how you can save money!

This post is all about how you can find the best Disney World Summer deals 2024.

Saving on Disney World Hotels

For many Disney World visitors, hotels will be the biggest expense (except maybe flights/travel, especially if you’re an international visitor).

Whether you’re staying in a Value, Moderate or Deluxe Resort, this can add up to a very high price.

But luckily, there are Disney World Summer deals and other ways you can cut the cost of your hotel bill!

Disney’s Current Hotel Promotions

The full-priced room rates at many Disney World Resorts are scarily high. But most of the time, Disney will offer some sort of discount to guests staying at on-site hotels.

I recommend checking the Disney Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page for the latest deals.

But most guests can usually find room-only discounts for up to 30% off.

Annual Passholders can often save up to 35% on select nights during Summer.

If you’re a Disney+ subscriber, DVC member, or Florida Resident, look for hotel deals on Disney’s site.

Disney Vacation Club Members

If you’re a DVC member, Summer can be a good time to spend your points. Whilst the cheapest times to use your points are usually September – closely followed by January, and the first two weeks of May – June through August is a pretty average amount of points per night to stay at the DVC Resorts.

If you’re not a Disney Vacation Club member, and you plan on taking Disney World Summer vacations for years to come – and are aware of the financial commitment – DVC can save you money overall.

However, if you’re not planning on visiting Disney frequently or don’t want to commit to becoming a DVC member, there is another great option for you …

Renting Disney Vacation Club Points

If you rent points, a DVC member will book your reservation and you pay for that reservation (usually by booking through a company like DVC Rental Store, David’s Vacation Club Rentals, DVC Shop Rentals etc).

This is usually less expensive than booking directly with Disney (though this also depends on the promotions Disney is running at the time).

Renting DVC points allows guests to stay at Deluxe Resorts for the price of Moderate – or sometimes even Value – Resorts.

Although renting DVC points can be more rewarding than booking through Disney, it can also be more complicated.

Disney World Tickets

US Tickets

The more days you visit Disney World, the cheaper you can expect your Disney World tickets to be. If you’re booking on the US Disney site, 1-day tickets will be the most expensive, and 10-day tickets will be the best value (as the price per day of the ticket will be lower).

Florida Resident Tickets

If you are a Florida Resident, you can see some great deals on tickets and annual passes.

Annual Passes

Okay, I’m not going to tell you that a Disney World annual pass is cheap. As an Annual Passholder myself, I can say that it is FAR from cheap.

However, if you visit enough days of the year, they can save you money compared to buying between one and ten-day tickets for your stay(s).

UK Tickets

As someone who lives in the UK, I used to get 14-day tickets for my Disney trips. When you purchase these tickets, you get 14 days for the price of 7 – which is a great deal, in comparison to the US prices.

Disney World Packages

US Packages

Want to book your Resort and tickets together? This can save you money (check the Disney World Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page for more information).

Here are the current perks you can receive for booking a Disney World package.

UK Packages

Before I became a DVC member and an Annual Passholder, my family would usually book a UK package for our Disney World visits.

These usually include some free nights at hotels or a dining credit per night (when I stayed at Coronado Springs for 14 nights in November 2023, this equated to $61 per room per day – but varied depending on which resort you stayed at).

Before the pandemic, our resort package (12 nights at Port Orleans—Riverside) included a free quick-service dining plan for every guest staying in the room (the good old days of Disney deals 🥹😂).

Military Disney World Summer Deals

If you are an active or retired member of the U.S. Armed Forces (with a valid, active U.S. Military ID), you will be eligible to discounts on tickets and hotels.

You can find more information on Disney’s site.

Ta Ta For Now

In conclusion, planning a Disney World vacation during the summer of 2024 doesn’t have to break the bank. After all, several Disney World Summer deals can help you save as much as you can on your next magical Disney vacation!

Have the best – and hopefully, not too expensive – Disney Summer vacation!
