Are you taking an adults-only trip, and want to know about the best Disney World Value Resorts? You’ve come to the right place!
Despite many Internet and social media users’ hate of Disney adults, Disney isn’t just for kids and family vacations. You can totally take a trip to Disney World if you’re over 18!
However, if you’re not going to Disney World as a kid or with your kids, your resort preferences may be entirely different.
Value Resorts are often viewed as the most “family-and-kid-friendly” hotel options at Walt Disney World.
Though Value Resorts at Disney World may lack some of the sophistication of the Moderate and Deluxe Resorts, they can still be perfect for your adults-only trip!
Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway, a solo adventure, or a trip with friends or grown-up family members, these resorts offer a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and Disney enchantment without straining your budget.
This post is all about the top 3 best Disney World Value Resorts for adults.
List of Disney World Value Resorts For Adults
1. Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
As the name suggests, All-Star Music is all about music of a variety of genres – from Country to Jazz. There’s even a Broadway section (which I would argue is the most magical – especially at night – and is best for an adult Disney trip).
Here is why you should stay at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort on your adults-only trip:
- It is loud, with giant structures – like the other Value Resorts. However, these aren’t structures of colossal Disney characters. Instead, they are representing musical icons (from maracas ๐ช ย to cowboy boots ๐ข). Believe it or not, this makes it feel slightly less aimed at children (the keyword being ‘slightly’ ๐ – but it still makes a difference!).
- This is one of the cheapest Value Resorts at Disney World. Rates for Standard Rooms in 2024 range from $133/night (during the Value Season) to $305/night (the week of Christmas ๐).
- In addition, they have the most affordable Family Suites here (which sleep up to 6 guests). This is great if you’re travelling with a few adults, or if you would appreciate the extra space. Rates for suites in 2024 cost between $336/night (in the Value Season) to $696/night (during the week of Christmas ๐).
2. Disney’s Pop Century Resort
Unlike All-Star Music, the name of Pop Century is quite misleading.
Pop Century represents the iconic fads of the 1950s-90s. The 1900s-1940s are sadly missing from this resort. Unfortuantely, due to the effects on travel after 9/11, the unrepresented decades’ buildings were left abandoned for years before they were eventually turned into Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.
Despite this, Pop Century does a great job of representing the second half of the 20th century. I’m saying that as a Gen-Z, who wasn’t alive until the 2000s, so I totally know what I’m talking about …
(If you were actually alive during this period, feel free to let me know I’m wrong. There’s a decent chance that I am ๐).
Here is why you should stay at Disney’s Pop Century Resort on your adults-only trip:
- It has Skyliner access to Epcot. If you want to go to Epcot ๐ and enjoy one of their four annual festivals, the Skyliner makes this extremely easy.
- You can also catch the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios ๐ฅ – if you’d like to prioritise riding the more thrilling attractions that aren’t aimed at Disney World’s younger guests.
- Pop Century is the cheapest Disney World Value Resort (including Art of Animation – the only other Value Resort on the Skyliner). Standard Rooms in 2024 range in price from $183 (during the Value Season), up to $392 (during the week of Christmas). Although it’s more expensive than staying at an All-Star resort, the perk of the Skyliner may justify the added cost. Especially if you plan on spending a lot of time at Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
- YOU CAN SEE EPCOT FIREWORKS FROM POP CENTURY! ๐ I recently visited Pop Century, and saw the Epcot fireworks by the Skyliner station (shared with Art of Animation). Sure, they are in the distance, but it is still a cool pro of staying at Pop Century. And, you know, potentially make it the best Disney Value Resort for adults.

3. Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
I recommend All-Star Sports for adults trips somewhat reluctantly, as this is a popular destination for sports teams. Which usually means chaos.
However, Value Resorts are often chaotic and busy regardless of who is staying there. And if you like Sports (from tennis ๐ to basketball ๐) and want to save money, this could be the perfect Value Resort for you!
You never know, the pros may surprisingly outweigh the cons for your adults-only Disney World vacation.
Here is why you should stay at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort on your adults-only trip:
- Although you will find some Disney character statues at this resort, it’s a lot more subtle than All-Star Movies or Art of Animation. In fact, it’s just enough to be fun.
- The room rates are on par with All-Star Music ($133/night (in the Value Season) and up to $305/night (the week of Christmas) – for a Standard Room). Because these are some of the most affordable rooms on Disney World property, you can take what your saving on table-service meals, fireworks dessert parties or other Disney events you may be interested in.
Or you could be a โresponsible adultโ and just save your savings. Yeah, I might still be working on that โฆย
Ta Ta For Now
In conclusion, when it comes to experiencing the enchantment of Disney World as an adult, you don’t have to compromise on comfort, convenience, or your budget.
So, whether you’re reliving childhood memories or creating new ones, these value resorts offer an excellent starting point for your Disney World adventure.
Here’s to your next incredible Disney adventure – where you can experience magic at every age!
