Visited the Disney Parks and fallen in love so much you want a Disneyland Paris Annual Pass?!
The idea of getting an annual pass might seem appealing at first, promising unlimited fun and countless visits.
As a Disneyland Paris Annual Passholder between 2022 and 2023, I totally understand.
But is it really worth it?
Since the major 2024 changes, many people find that the Disneyland Paris Annual Passes doesn’t live up to the hype and ends up being a waste of money.
There are many reasons why I didn’t renew my Annual Pass last year!
Today, I’ll break down the reasons why an AP might not be the best use of money, and helping you decide how you can save the most on Disneyland Paris tickets (whether or not that is with an AP).
This post is all about why Disneyland Paris Annual Passes may be a waste of money in 2024-2025.

Does Disneyland Paris Offer Annual Passes in 2024?
In these ever-changing times, many visitors might be wondering if Disneyland Paris will continue to offer annual passes in 2024.
The good news is, yes, Disneyland Paris does currently offer annual passes for the upcoming year.
Although Disneyland Paris has paused AP sales in the past, there is no indication that this will happen again (anytime soon).
Types of Annual Passes (since 2023) & how much are Disneyland Paris Annual Passes?

Disneyland Paris Old Annual Pass – what made them better?
There used to be 4 cheaper, better Disneyland Paris annual passes on offer prior to 2023.
In order to see the lack of value in the three newer Annual Passes, let’s reminisce on the good old days of Disneyland Paris Annual Passes:
Infinity Pass (365 days access): €499
Magic Plus Pass (350 days access): €369
Magic Flex Pass (300 days access): €319
Discovery Pass (150 days access): €229
Here are some of the benefits that have been removed (note some of these were only for Infinity Annual Pass):
- 15% renewal discount on Annual Pass (removed from all Annual Passholders)
- No exclusive entrances to parks (previously for Infinity and Magic Plus Passholders).
- No more Disneyland Paris hotel Annual Pass discount (for all Passholders).
- No VIP parade/firework reserved area (a previous Infinity Annual Pass Disneyland Paris perk).
- The Inifinity car park does not exist anymore
- The 20% entrance ticket discount has been removed.
- The Infinity 20% food and merchandise discount is now 15%.
- No privilege tickets (friend/family Disneyland Paris tickets discount).
Is It Worth It?
If you live nearby and visit Disneyland Paris A LOT, buying an AP may still be worth it – despite the colossal price increases.
But if you have to travel and stay in a hotel, you might as well book a Disneyland Paris package (the most popular ways to book are through Disneyland Paris and MagicBreaks).
Due to the loss of the Disneyland Paris Annual Pass hotel discount, it can be considerably cheaper to buy your tickets in a package for a hotel (as demonstrated in this blog post).
Unless the 4 Disneyland Paris Annual Pass events each year are important to you, APs aren’t going to be ideal for the majority of guests.
If you live locally, this may be a good benefit, but if you live hours away or in another country, you may not be able to attend any of these events.
Plus, the Treasure Night Passholder Event (which was held on March 22nd, 2024) cost €59 per ticket (on top of your already expensive Annual Pass!).
Since there are almost no perks and discounts anymore, buying Disneyland Paris Annual Passes and staying at off-site cheap hotels is no longer an *almost* guaranteed way of saving money on your Disneyland Paris holidays.
Also, only being able to hold 3 reservations at one time is kind of pathetic. If you’re trying to book for more popular times of the year (especially Christmas), you might need a lot of luck on your side!

Ta Ta For Now
After considering the costs, hidden fees, and limited benefits, it’s clear a Disneyland Paris AP isn’t the best value for most visitors.
The pass comes with restrictions, blockout dates, and often disappointing “perks” (if you can even call them that in 2024/2025).
Do you plan on purchasing an Annual Pass in the future?
And, do you think they can still save you money (despite being potentially HUNDREDS of euros more)?
