Disneyland Paris has rides for everyone. Whether you want more chilled or thrilling attractions, you will definitely find them here.
Whilst Disneyland Paris doesn’t have rides that are “just for adults”, there are plenty of attractions that adults can appreciate and enjoy.
I’ve been visiting Disneyland Paris since I was four years old. Since I’ve been visiting as an adult, I’ve noticed that my ride preferences have changed.
The rides I used to find boring, I now find interesting.
The rides I used to find scary, I now find thrilling (except Blanche-Neige et les Sept Nains – the Snow White Ride – that’s terrifying!).

If you’re visiting Disneyland Paris for the first time as an adult, I promise there are plenty of rides at Disneyland Paris for you!
Do you have to pay extra for rides at Disneyland Paris?
If you’re wondering, ‘Do you have to pay for rides in Disneyland Paris?’ the answer is no.
Once you have your valid Disneyland Paris tickets, you can go on as many rides as you like – without paying extra for each individual ride.
The price of your ticket covers your “entrance fee” and the attractions you experience in the parks.
However, if you want to skip the line with the current Disneyland Paris fastpass system, known as Disney Premier Access, this will come at an extra cost.

1) “it’s a small world”

Highlights: A boat journey “around the world”
Location: Fantasyland, Disneyland Park
“It’s a Small World” is one of the most iconic attractions at Disneyland Paris (and Disney Parks in general – except Shanghai Disneyland).
While some people can’t stand it due to its VERY catchy tune and the arguably creepy animatronics, it’s an extraordinary ride.
Although I liked this as a kid, as an adult, I can now appreciate the real meaning behind this attraction.
You journey through whimsical scenes depicting various cultures, reminding us that “it’s a small world after all”.
Disneyland Paris doesn’t have a World Showcase (like Epcot at Disney World), so this is basically as close as it gets for Europe’s park.

2) Big Thunder Mountain
Height Restriction: 1.02m +
Highlights: Fast roller coaster with small drops
Location: Frontierland, Disneyland Park
Big Thunder Mountain is a decently thrilling roller coaster that takes you into wild and wonderful story.
Set in the Wild West-themed area of Frontierland, this fun attraction takes you on a high-speed journey through a mysterious mine.
With sudden drops, sharp turns, and immersive theming, Big Thunder Mountain offers a thrilling experience that never fails to excite.
As adults, we can fully appreciate the intricacies of the ride’s design and the immersive storytelling as we navigate the twists and turns of the track.
Also, the views are stunning (something I definitely didn’t care about as a kid!). If you ride this at night (during the fireworks), you won’t regret it!
The beautiful combination of the thrills and views truly makes this one of the best rides in Disneyland Paris for adults (and guests in general).

3) Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril

This is another outdoor roller coaster – stepped up a notch.
Unlike Biog Thunder Mountain, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril is a roller coaster with loops!
Although I wouldn’t categorise this as a “scary” roller coaster, it is certainly more intense (especially by Disney standards).
At this attraction, you board a wagon which races you through the mystifying, secretive jungle ruins.
4) Les voyages de Pinocchio
Height Restriction: Any height
Highlights: Storytelling, slow ride
Location: Fantasyland, Disneyland Park
Les Voyages de Pinocchio is a classic dark ride located in Fantasyland – the cutest land at Disneyland Park.
This adorable attraction takes you on a journey through the wonderful world of Pinocchio, where you can step into the beloved tale of the wooden puppet who dreams of becoming a real boy.
As adults, we can appreciate the nostalgia and storytelling of Les Voyages de Pinocchio, as well as the intricate details and theming that bring the story to life.
Although this attraction can feel old and slightly dated, that makes it feel so endearing.
If you can look past the pretty unimpressive animatronics and lack of current innovation, this ride can take you back to your childhood in the best way!

This is inferior to the Tower of Terror at Disney World’s Hollywood Studios, but it’s still a good ride (especially for an arguably underwhelming park like Walt Disney Studios – with mainly cheap rides that aren’t overly themed).

You may not think a Finding Nemo ride is going to be that exciting to adults, but it is!

As you board your turtle shell-shaped ride vehicle, be prepared for an exciting ride filled with twists, turns, and unexpected surprises.
I’m kind of harsh on Walt Disney Studios for having mainly cheap attractions that you could find at many other theme parks. But this is an exception to that. This indoor roller coaster is well-themed and quite exhilarating.
Unfortunately, because it is one of the best rides in the park, the lines are VERY LONG.
And the roller coaster itself is pretty short. But if you’re fine with that, it is a really great Disneyland Paris ride.
9) Phantom Manor
