Epcot Rides and Attractions List – Shows
1. Matsuriza
Location: World Showcase – Japan Pavillion 🇯🇵
This is a 15-minute show, featuring Taiko (an ancient form of drumming in Japan).
2. The American Adventure
Location: World Showcase – The American Adventure Pavillion 🇺🇸
This show features 35 audio-animatronic figures, and recounts the most iconic and historic American stories – with everything from the Civil War to the Great Depression.
3. Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along
Location: World Showcase – France Pavillion 🇫🇷
This 15-minute film features the classic songs from Beauty and the Beast. You get to enjoy the songs in an endearing French cinema!
4. Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360
Location: World Showcase – Canada Pavilion 🇨🇦
This is a unique 12-minute presentation, displaying the Great White North in Circle-Vision 360!
5. Command Performance
Location: World Showcase – United Kingdom Pavillion 🇬🇧
Do you love British boy bands? This show is for you!
No, I’m not talking about a One Direction tribute band (though that would be kind of amazing – coming from an English girl, who used to be a 1D superfan 😂).
This show features British rock music from the 1960s-1990s for 30 minutes.
6. Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival
Location: World Celebration
Disney isn’t known for using 4D often (in the way that Universal does).
But this is an 18-minute short film festival (with three 4D “mini-movies”!).
7. International Festival of the Holidays – Candlelight Processional
Location: World Showcase – American Adventure Pavilion
During the Festival of the Holidays, you can enjoy a nightly telling of the story of Christmas – by a celebrity narrator. In 2023, these celebrity narrators include Josh Gad, Whoopi Goldberg, Daymond John, Neil Patrick Harris and more!
The show also has a marvellous orchestra and choir.

8. Eat to the Beat Concert Series presented by Florida Blue Medicare
Location: World Showcase – American Adventure Pavilion – America Gardens Theatre
During the Food and Wine Festival, enjoy live acts from July 27 to November 13, 2023. These are local and well-known bands.
9. International Flower & Garden Festival – Garden Rocks Concert Series
Location: World Showcase – American Adventure Pavilion – America Gardens Theatre
This show is similar to the Eat to the Beat Concert Series – just for a different Epcot festival.
10. Turtle Talk With Crush
Location: World Nature
Crush is undeniably cool in Finding Nemo and Finding Dory. But he’s even cooler in Epcot, because you get to talk to him! That’s some real Disney magic.
11. Voices of Liberty
Location: World Showcase – American Adventure Pavilion
This is the most beautiful 15-minute vocal performance from some of the most marvellous singers you’ve probably ever heard!
12. Epcot Forever
Epcot Forever is back – sparkling, colourful and beautiful! For an iconic Disney World nighttime show, don’t skip this on your next Disney World vacation!
Epcot Rides and Attractions List – Thrill Rides
Epcot may not be known for its thrill rides. After all, they don’t have many. But the quality of the few they have is unbelievably high!
1. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
Height Restriction: 42in (107cm) +
Highlights: Dark, thrilling, pretty amazing music
Location: World Discovery
We are starting with the newest – and the best – roller coaster at Epcot.
I would even venture to say that it’s the best roller coaster at Disney World – and trumps any roller coaster that Universal Studios Orlando is offering.
You don’t have to be a fan of Marvel to appreciate this roller coaster (I’m no Marvel superfan myself).
But if you enjoy thrilling dark rides, with booming classic music, a handful of surprises and insane innovation, you’ll fall in love with this.
Before Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind opened in May 2022, I thought that Epcot was really missing a good roller coaster. This has really filled the gap.

2. Test Track Presented by Chevrolet®
Height Restriction: 40in (102cm) +
Highlights: High speed, designing a car
Location: World Discovery
Do you love cars and designing? This ride is practically a more innovative – and thrilling version – of the Tomorrowland Speedway attraction at Magic Kingdom.
On Test Track, you get to design and then race your car!
Not to brag, but I went on Test Track three times on my last Disney World vacation, and won twice!

3. Mission: SPACE
Height Restriction: 40in (102cm) + for Green Mission & 44in (112cm) for Orange Mission
Highlights: Thrilling, spinning, motion-sickness and dizziness
Location: World Discovery
This is the ride that made me realise I didn’t want to be an astronaut.
It’s important to note that there are two types (or “levels of intensity”) for this attraction:
- Orange Mission – the more intense one that is MUCH MORE likely to cause dizziness and motion sickness – on the way to Mars
- Green Mission – the much more gentle ride, where you orbit the Earth
Not to be mean, but I don’t really understand the purpose of Mission: Space.
The Green Mission is a boring simulator ride that does practically nothing (it doesn’t compare in the slightest to Star Tours– The Adventures Continue at Hollywood Studios).
However, the Orange Mission can cause extreme dizziness (and it did, in my case).
If you have any health issues at all – or you don’t want to risk sickness or dizziness – opt for the Green Mission, or skip this ride. You really won’t be missing anything out of this world 😂
Epcot Rides and Attractions List – Slow Rides
Epcot is home to a lot more slow rides – and for the most part, this Disney World park really excels at slow rides.
1. Frozen Ever After
Height Restriction: Any height
Highlights: Magical slow boat ride, small drops, dark
Location: World Showcase – Norway Pavillion 🇳🇴
If you love Frozen, this is the ride for you.
I mean, you get to visit Elsa’s Ice Castle! Does it get more magical than that?!
2. Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros
Height Restriction: Any height
Highlights: Slow boat ride
Location: World Showcase – Mexico Pavillion 🇲🇽
This ride rarely has a queue above ten minutes, and sadly I can kind of see why.
This ride feels very 1980’s and thrown together on a budget. Surprisingly, this ride only opened in 2007 but feels very dated today.
The Gran Fiesta Tour certainly has the potential to be an excellent ride. After all, The Three Caballeros are charming!
But the Gran Fiesta Tour is currently in urgent need of a refurbishment.
3. Journey Into Imagination With Figment
Height Restriction: Any height
Highlights: Unique dark slow ride with a slightly strange purple dragon
Location: World Celebration
Do you want to discover the 5 senses with Figment – everyone’s favourite purple dragon? Well, why wouldn’t you?!
In my opinion, it’s one of the weirdest rides in Walt Disney World, but maybe that’s because I don’t quite understand the hype for Figment. He’s kind of cute, but he’s no Mickey Mouse!
4. Living with the Land
Height Restriction: Any height
Highlights: Slow rides, plants
Location: World Nature
Calling all gardeners! Living with the Land is your perfect ride!
If you want to find out about the history of farming and growing crops, you’ll enjoy this ride.
When I was younger, I thought it was a boring ride aimed at older people. But now I almost like this attraction, so I must be getting old.
But if you have younger kids, this probably won’t be their favourite ride. Especially when Frozen Ever After exists.
That being said, it is one of the most educational rides at Epcot, so it can be a beneficial attraction to check out.
5. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
Height Restriction: Any height
Highlights: 4D, slow ride, where you shrink down to become a rat – like Remy
Location: World Showcase – France Pavillion 🇫🇷
This ride opened at Disney World on the 50th anniversary (October 1st, 2021) – after the original opened at Disneyland Paris, on July 10, 2014.
I have loved the Disneyland Paris version for years, and the Disney World one feels the same.
It’s a charming 4D ride that has used innovation and impressive sets to immerse you in “a rat’s world”.
I’m often not the biggest fan of 3D and 4D rides (thanks to visiting Universal Studios Orlando – where 3D and 4D technology is very overused). But this is an exception, and an example of when it is done well.
6. The Seas with Nemo & Friends
Height Restriction: Any height
Highlights: You get to go beneath the ocean (without this being a water ride) and find Nemo on this slow ride!
Location: World Nature
This is a sweet slow ride where you get to see the iconic characters from Finding Nemo, and you get to actually find Nemo!
The Seas with Nemo & Friends has a similar style to Under the Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid at Magic Kingdom – but with a different theme.
After this attraction, you can go and explore the real Aquarium. Naturally, this aquarium has clownfish and sharks – not together!
7. Soarin’ Around the World
Height Restriction: 40in (102cm) +
Highlights: Slow ride with small drops as you explore the world
Location: World Nature
On Soarin’ Around the World, you get to fly around the world – to see the greatest wonders. From Egypt to Paris, you will see it all!
In my opinion, this isn’t a ride you have to do more than once or twice a trip. After all, it is a screen-based ride (though an impressive one at that). But, it is a must-do Epcot attraction!
8. Spaceship Earth
Height Restriction: Any height
Highlights: Slow ride with historical storytelling
Location: World Celebration
On Spaceship Earth, you get to spend 16 minutes time travelling to iconic historical times – such as the end of the Civil War and the first landing on the moon!
This attraction is full of impressive animatronics that tell the stories very well.
There usually isn’t a large queue for Spaceship Earth, so it’s good attraction if it’s a humid day, and you just want a break!
Coming Soon
Moana Journey of Water
Location: World Nature
Opening in late 2023, Moana Journey of Water is an interactive walkthrough attraction inspired by the hit animated movie, Moana.
