So before you start planning any Disneyland Paris holidays or booking any Disneyland Paris tickets, let’s discuss the World of Frozen, and if you should wait to visit until it’s open.

Here is your Frozen Land Disneyland Paris update and all the information you’ll need to know!

This post is all about Frozen Land Disneyland Paris and everything we know about it so far.

Frozen Land Disneyland Paris

What is Frozen Land at Disneyland Paris?

Frozen Land (also called World of Frozen) is a new immersive land coming to Disneyland Paris.

It will recreate the magical world of Arendelle, including iconic locations like Elsa’s Ice Palace and the Arendelle Castle.

The land will feature attractions, themed dining, shopping, and interactive experiences.

It is thought to be similar to the Frozen Land Hong Kong has (which opened on November 20th, 2023) or Frozen Kingdom at Tokyo Disneyland (which opened on June 6th, 2024).

Where will Frozen Land be located?

Frozen Land will be part of the renovated Disney Adventure World (better known as Walt Disney Studios Park).

It is part of the much-needed €2 billion expansion of Disney’s arguably worst theme park ever: Walt Disney Studios.

When is Frozen Land Disneyland Paris Opening?

The Frozen Land Disneyland Paris opening date has not been officially announced by Disney yet.

However, it has been confirmed to be opening in 2026.

What attractions will be in Frozen Land 2026?

  • Frozen Ever After – we can assume that this boat ride will be very similar to the versions at Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort or Hong Kong Disneyland (just without the Epcot projection faces PLEASE – iykyk).
  • A brand new water show – as World of Frozen is being built around a lake.
  • Two Frozen shows
  • Meet and Greet opportunities with Elsa, Anna and Olaf – Yes, you can have warm hugs with Olaf in this Frozen land!
  • Dining Location with Frozen-themed snacks – Hopefully with the sisters favorite food – chocolate 🍫

Is Frozen Land part of a bigger renovation?

Yes, as mentioned earlier, Frozen Land is part of a €2 billion expansion at Disneyland Paris.

This includes updates to Disney Adventure World (originally named Walt Disney Studios Park) and new attractions like a Tangled-themed ride and the first ever Lion King-inspired log flume ride.

These attractions are expected to open from 2026 (and hopefully not too long after the grand opening of World of Frozen, but we know how long Disney projects can take 😂).

Is Frozen at Disneyland Paris now?

Although World of Frozen isn’t opening until 2026, there is a Frozen show at Walt Disney Studios Park now!

Frozen: A Musical Invitation is a French/English show, where you can see iconic Frozen characters like Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and more!

Unlike For The First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration at Hollywood Studios at Disney World (which is fun for everyone), this show is more geared to kids.

(And it can be slightly confusing at times if you don’t speak French and English).

Be aware that this show is very popular, so make sure to arrive in plenty of time (maybe even 30 minutes before showtime, if you really want to see this).

This show is subject to change, so make sure to check the Disneyland Paris site or app before your visit.

What time is the Frozen show at Disneyland Paris?

This show is often on multiple times per day, however this can change, so be sure to check the showtimes on the Disneyland Paris app.

Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Frozen Land Disneyland Paris

Can I see construction updates for Frozen Land?

Yes, Disneyland Paris has been sharing construction updates from time to time.

These updates are available on official Disneyland Paris social media accounts.

Is there a Star Wars Land in Disneyland Paris?

There is no Star Wars Land. Disney had announced a new Star Wars Land for Walt Disney Studios Park (likely a scaled-down version of Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios and Disneyland in California).

But there’s been no mention of this in the upcoming plans for the Disneyland Paris expansion.

So, we can assume that this land has been cancelled, or at least delayed (by years).

Ta Ta For Now

So, should you visit Disneyland Paris before the opening of World of Frozen?

If you’ve visited the Frozen Lands at Hong Kong Disneyland or in Tokyo, you may not feel a need to delay your Disneyland Paris visit until the Frozen Land has opened.

If you’ve been on Frozen Ever After at Epcot (Walt Disney World Resort), the ride at Disneyland Paris will probably be similar.

So unless you REALLY want to experience this, maybe going in 2025 still makes sense to you.

But if all these Frozen attractions sound good to you, and you’re not desperate to visit Disneyland Paris in the next year or so, waiting until this exciting new land opens probably is your best bet.
