Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs
What is Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs?
Gran Destino Tower is the latest addition (as of July 2019) to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort – a Moderate Resort at Disney World.
This Tower adds a huge element of luxury to the already stunning Resort.
It is extremely popular with those on business or adult-only trips.
The Tower is themed after Walt Disney and Salvador Dali’s short film ‘Destino’. So, expect to see some hidden Mickeys (and even a not-so-hidden Mickey on a mural with Walt!).
Now, let’s talk about everything Gran Destino Tower has to offer …
1) Gran Destino Tower – Rooms and Suites
Gran Destino Tower opened with 545 guest rooms – including 50 suites and Club Level rooms (more on this later).
Here are the Gran Destino Tower Room and Suite Options (as well as the 2024 room/suite rates):
- Tower – Standard View (sleeps up to 4 guests): $316/night – $638/night
- Tower – Water View (sleeps up to 4 guests): $368/night – $645/night
- Tower – Standard View – King Bed (sleeps up to 2 guests): $404/night – $645/night
- Tower – Standard View – Club Access (sleeps up to 4 guests): $448/night – $1,035/night
- Tower – Deluxe Suite – Club Access (sleeps up to 4 guests): $702/night – $1,403/night
- Tower – One Bedroom Suite – Club Access (sleeps up to 4 guests): $1,292/night – $1,989/night
- Tower – Presidential Suite – Club Access (sleeps up to 4 guests): $1,810/night – $3,734/night
I have stayed in A Tower – Standard View – King Bedroom (even though we were staying Club Level, and booked a Standard Room – with two queen beds).
It was a wonderfully modern room and is a slight step up from Coronado Springs’ Standard Rooms (though not a HUGE improvement, as the refurbished rooms at Coronado Springs are really great).

2) Gran Destino Tower Restaurants
Want a great place to dine or get drinks? Gran Destino Tower has a couple of popular options.
The main restaurant at Gran Destino Tower is Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood.
This Spanish quick-service rooftop restaurant is open for dinner between 5 PM and 10 PM( but I recommend that you check this before your visit, as this is subject to change).

But, if you’re looking for some more casual food and/or drinks, Dahlia Lounge is your place!
For light snacks, they have a pretty decent selection of tapas. And they have plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to choose from.
Dahlia Lounge is open between 5 PM and 12 AM (but I recommend that you check this before your visit, as this is subject to change).

The best thing about Toledo and Dahlia Lounge is that they are great locations for watching fireworks from Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
In the lobby of Gran Destino Tower, you can find Barcelona Lounge, which serves drinks and a small selection of food.
3) Club Level at Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs
As I previously mentioned, there are rooms and suites available in the Tower that have Club Access.
This means you can go to Chronos Club – an exclusive lounge for those staying in Club Access Rooms and Suites. Here, you can find food and drinks throughout the day.
You can also talk to dedicated concierge cast members if you have questions or require assistance throughout your stay.

4) Gran Destino Tower Fitness Center
This 24-hour Fitness Center is available for guests staying at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
It is the second gym at Coronado Springs, so if you REALLY like working out on vacation, this may be the best place for you to stay!
5) Gran Destino Tower Work Stations and a Board Room
Thanks to its Convention Center, Coronado Springs is known for being one of the main Disney Resorts for conferences and guests there on business.
In the tower, you will find a variety of places where people can sit and work.
There is even a 24-seat Board Room (known as the ‘Catalonia Boardroom‘) downstairs in Gran Destino Tower!
