Hollywood Studios List of Attractions For a One-Day Visit
1. Fantasmic!
Location: Sunset Boulevard
Prepare to be transported into a realm of imagination, magic, and wonder as you experience Fantasmic!. This is one of Disneyâs most dazzling and unforgettable nighttime spectaculars.
This nighttime show is like nothing youâve seen at another theme park (unless youâve seen Fantasmic! at Disneyland).
You are invited to join Mickey Mouse on an epic journey into his dream, where the forces of good and evil battle in a breathtaking extravaganza.
The showâs stage is a massive, watery wonderland, which doubles as a reflective surface for breathtaking projections.
As the lights dim, the water comes to life, transforming into a canvas for the most incredible Disney scenes, characters, and stories. From classic Disney princesses to iconic villains, youâll witness a parade of beloved characters like never before.
Fantasmic! is not just a visual spectacle; itâs a stunning combination of sound and music. The showâs soundtrack, featuring some of Disneyâs most memorable songs, adds depth and emotion to the storytelling, creating a truly immersive experience.
As the show reaches its grand finale, youâll witness a heartwarming and inspiring moment as Mickey harnesses the power of his dreams to defeat the forces of darkness, leaving the audience with a message of hope and the belief that dreams really do come true.
So, if youâre ready to embark on an unforgettable journey through Mickeyâs dreams, filled with music, magic, and memorable moments, donât miss Fantasmic!
2. For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration
Location: Echo Lake
Step into the wintry kingdom of Arendelle in a heartwarming and hilarious retelling of Disneyâs Frozen.
The showâs hosts, a pair of humorous royal historians, provide a delightful introduction to the story and its characters. They guide the audience through key moments in the film while interjecting jokes for all ages and engaging the crowd in sing-along sessions of Frozenâs beloved songs.
Youâll have the opportunity to join in the singing of iconic songs like Let It Go, Do You Want to Build a Snowman? and Love Is an Open Door. Lyrics are displayed on large screens so everyone can sing their hearts out (as if the lyrics havenât been stuck in your head since 2013 đ).
âFor the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebrationâ captures the essence of Frozenâs magic, comedy, and heart. With your favourite Frozen characters and songs, this show is a must-see attraction.
Even if youâve seen this show in the past, it might be worth seeing it again. Every time I watch For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, itâs slightly â or quite drastically â different, so it doesnât become boring and old.
So, get ready to sing, laugh, and let the Frozen magic take hold as you experience âFor the First Time in Foreverâ.
3. Mickey & Minnieâs Runaway Railway
Height Restriction: Any height
Highlights: 2-and-a-half-D, the only ride at Disney World that features Mickey and Friends!
Location: Hollywood Boulevard
Prepare for a whimsical adventure like no other as you step into the cartoon world of Mickey Mouse and his pals on Mickey & Minnieâs Runaway Railway at Disney Worldâs Hollywood Studios.
As you enter the Chinese Theater, home to this groundbreaking attraction, youâll immediately be enveloped in the delightful charm of classic Mickey Mouse cartoons.
Your adventure begins when you board a zany, colourful train with Goofy (spoiler alert: this may not be the best idea).
Throughout the ride, youâll find yourself in one hilarious mishap after another â with Mickey and Friends.
One of the most remarkable aspects of âMickey & Minnieâs Runaway Railwayâ is its innovative technology. The ride employs trackless ride vehicles that move independently, seamlessly transitioning between scenes. This technology allows for a dynamic and ever-changing experience, ensuring that no two rides are exactly the same.
The attraction is also known for its unforgettable (and arguably annoying) theme song, âNothing Can Stop Us Now,â. But letâs be honest, we all secretly love it.
As someone who detests most screen-based attractions, this is surprisingly one of my favourite rides at Walt Disney World. Itâs silly, fun, and it was about time we got a ride based on Mickey and Friends!

Location: Sunset Boulevard
Get ready to rock and roll like a true rock star on âRock ânâ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmithâ. This high-speed, high-energy roller coaster is a must-visit for thrill-seekers and music lovers alike đ¸
The adventure begins as you enter the iconic G-Force Records, where youâre about to experience the ultimate backstage pass. The story revolves around Aerosmith, who invites you to their concert across town. But thereâs a catch: traffic in Los Angeles is a nightmare. Youâre in for a wild ride to make it to the show on time.
Your âsuper-stretchâ limo is designed for maximum speed and excitement. The shocking launch from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just a few seconds is an adrenaline-pumping start to this roller coaster experience.
As you race through the neon-lit streets of Los Angeles, youâre treated to the marvellous sounds of Aerosmithâs greatest hits blasting through your onboard speakers.

5. Slinky Dog Dash
Height Restriction: 38in (97cm) +
Highlights: Thrill rides, a step above a junior coaster, one of the best Disney World rides at night, small drops
Location: Toy Story Land
If youâre ready for a rootinâ tootinâ good time, Slinky Dog Dash is the coaster for you.
This family-friendly attraction is inspired by the lovable Slinky Dog from Disney-Pixarâs Toy Story films. Slinky Dog Dash offers a thrilling yet accessible experience for riders of all ages.
The coasterâs track winds its way around this imaginative backyard landscape â complete with towering toys and colourful building blocks.
The rideâs pace is relatively fast but not overly intense, ensuring itâs enjoyable for families and thrill-seekers alike.
One of the highlights of âSlinky Dog Dashâ is the coasterâs unique âlaunchâ feature. Slinky Dog starts the ride with an exhilarating burst of speed, propelling you forward with a spring-like stretch â creating an unforgettable moment of pure joy.
However, I recommend riding Slinky Dog Dash at night, as it provides beautiful views of Toy Story Land, all lit up in the dark.
Itâs still fun to ride in daylight, but it doesnât feel as special.
Hold on to your cowboy hats and prepare to dash through Andyâs backyard with Slinky Dog on a wild adventure!

6. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
Height Restriction: 40in (102cm) +
Highlights: Thrill rides, small drops, immersive, extremely unique
Location: Star Wars: Galaxyâs Edge
Are you ready for a galactic adventure like no other?
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistanceâ is not just a ride; itâs an epic, immersive journey into the heart of the Star Wars universe.
As someone who knows very little about the Star Wars universe, Iâm going to give you a brief description of this ride (but letâs just pretend itâs because I donât want to spoil anything for you).
As you step into the Resistanceâs hidden base, you become a recruit in their ongoing battle against the First Order.
This ride contains the longest pre-show, which Iâm not complaining about, because itâs pretty cool. But, it is time-consuming, so you may need to consider that in your plans.
When your mission begins, you are immersed in Star Wars like never before. If you thought Star Tours was awesome, wait until you experience this attraction!
The ride utilizes cutting-edge technology, seamlessly blending physical sets with state-of-the-art trackless ride vehicles and impressive audio-visual effects.
âStar Wars: Rise of the Resistanceâ is not just a ride; itâs a narrative-driven adventure that blurs the lines between reality and fantasy. The storyline is dynamic, and multiple ride systems ensure that each experience is slightly different, adding to its replay value.
This attraction is a true testament to Disneyâs commitment to storytelling and innovation.
For Star Wars fans, itâs an absolute must-do, and even those less familiar with the franchise (like me) might just be blown away by the sheer scale and immersion of the experience.

âStar Wars: Rise of the Resistanceâ is a triumph of theme park design, delivering an unforgettable adventure that will leave you in awe of the magic of Disney.
7. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
Height Restriction: 40in (102cm) +
Highlights: Thrill ride with HUGE drops
Location: Sunset Boulevard
Step into the eerie and enigmatic world of âThe Twilight Zone Tower of Terrorâ, where the ordinary becomes extraordinary, and fear is just the beginning of the adventure.
The attraction is set at the Hollywood Tower Hotel â a once-glamorous establishment that has been abandoned for decades â after a mysterious and chilling incident.
The ominous facade of the hotel, with its crumbling façade and overgrown gardens, sets the tone for the eerie experience that awaits inside.
During the pre-show, you soon discover the inexplicable disappearance of five hotel guests during a thunderstorm in 1939.
Boarding the rickety and rusted-out service elevator, youâll be joined by fellow guests, creating a sense of shared anticipation.
Prepare for the most thrilling, up-and-down elevator ride of your life, while exploring this creepy 1930s hotel.
For those seeking spine-tingling excitement and a taste of the supernatural, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is a must-visit attraction at Disney World. Just remember, youâre about to enter⌠the Twilight Zone.
