To all who come to this happy place, you are welcome on any attractions on this Magic Kingdom ride list!
Wasnât it frustrating when you were younger, and all you wanted was to ride Space Mountain, but you just werenât tall enough?
Or maybe your little ones are currently too little to ride Tron or Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Thatâs okay: there are plenty of awesome rides at Magic Kingdom – without height restrictions!
This post is the complete Magic Kingdom ride list for attractions without height requirements.
Magic Kingdom Ride List for Attractions without Height Requirements
@caffeinebythecastle Magic Kingdom is arguably the best Disney park for attractions without height requirements. The full post on caffeinebythecastle.com covers the 17 rides without height restrictions at Magic Kingdom. Which is your favourite slower ride at Magic Kingdom? đ°#magickingdomrides #magickingdomride
There are currently 16 attractions on our Disney Magic Kingdom ride list. None of these attractions have height restrictions, making this one of the most inclusive parks for all guests.
1. Astro Orbiter
Highlights: Spinning, high, slower ride
Location:Â Tomorrowland
If you want to fly in a spinning rocket ship, make your way to Tomorrowland!
Your little ones can pretend to be astronauts, whilst you enjoy the exquisite views of Magic Kingdom.
Though let’s be honest, we all pretend we’re astronauts on this attraction!
2. Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
Highlights: Slow rides, some spinning (optional & controlled by you to help you find other targets)
Location: Tomorrowland
Toy Story fans of all heights can take part in this healthy competition!
You can help Buzz to defeat the evil Zurg (and the player sitting next to you – by having a more accurate and precise aim with your infrared laser cannon).
This can be a lot of fun (especially if you win).

3. Dumbo the Flying Elephant
Highlights: Whimsical slow, spinning ride
Location:Â Fantasyland
If you thought Orbitron was great, Dumbo is simply a cuter version of the same ride! It’s your classic spinning ride that isn’t intense and doesn’t make you too dizzy. In other words, it’s nothing like the Orange Mission of Mission: SPACE at Epcot.

4. Haunted Mansion
Highlights: Slow, dark, slightly spooky
Location: Liberty Square
This is a classic dark ride that is less scary than the average Haunted Mansion (at a non-Disney theme park), but it might be a little spooky for younger riders. Sure, guests of all heights can ride this attraction, but it isn’t your average bright, colourful, happy Fantasyland kind of ride.
5. “it’s a small world”
Highlights: Boat ride highlighting cultures from around the world, with an arguably annoying song you will never forget
Location: Fantasyland
Speaking of Fantasyland rides, we can’t forget about “it’s a small world”.
I know some people love this attraction, and others find it creepy and annoyingly repetitive.
But, you’ve got to ride it at least once! And as a kid, I loved this ride (and I love it just as much – if not more – as an adult), so depending on your preferences, it really is good for all ages.
6. Jungle Cruise
Highlights: Slow boat ride with animatronic animals
Location: AdventurelandÂ
On the Jungle Cruise, guests of all heights and ages are invited to explore the wild.
From ageing animatronic animals to mildly funny (and cringy) jokes, this ride has it all đ
As long as you don’t go into this ride expecting a modern masterpiece, you won’t be disappointed. It’s almost like the ride version of Country Bear Jamboree. Objectively, it’s not outstanding by today’s standards, but it’s fun, and we’ll continue to love it!
7. Liberty Square Riverboat
Highlights: A slow boat ride
Location: Liberty Square
This relaxed 17-minute boat ride is ideal if you’re wanting to see some unique views of Magic Kingdom.
8. Mad Tea Party
Highlights: Spinning teacups
Location: Fantasyland
It is a classic teacup spinning ride, where you can control how much you spin.
If you’re worried about feeling too dizzy, this may not be your cup of tea – but once again, it is nothing compared to the Orange Mission of Mission: SPACE.
9. The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
Highlights: Spinning, slow ride
Location: Adventureland
This is another Astro Orbiter and Dumbo the Flying Elephant “replica”, but this time, you get to fly on Aladdin’s Magic Carpets!
10. Main Street Vehicles
Highlights: Slow vehicle ride
Location: Main Street, U.S.A.
On the Main Street Vehicles, you can enjoy a calm ride in a turn-of-the-century vehicle down Main Street!
11. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Highlights: Slow, storytelling ride
Location: Fantasyland
When riding  The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, you get to step into the Winnie the Pooh film.
You can see all your favourite characters – Piglet, Roo and more. You even get to play a game of hide-and-seek with Tigger!
12. Peter Pan’s Flight
Highlights: Slow ride with tiny drops & adorable storytelling
Location: Fantasyland
This iconic opening-day attraction recounts the story of Peter Pan in a charming and adorable way.
The only major downside of Peter Pan’s Flight is that it has one of the longest wait times of all the attractions on our Magic Kingdom ride list. It might even tempt you to purchase Genie+.
13. Pirates of the Caribbean
Highlights: Slow, dark boat ride with pirates & small drops
Location: Adventureland
Pirates of all ages and heights can enjoy this classic Disney boat ride. The animatronics, storylines, soundtrack and even the scent of this ride make for an awesome slow ride.
14. Tomorrowland Speedway
Highlights: You get to drive! đ
Location:Â Tomorrowland
Is it innovative? No. Does it feel like driving a car of tomorrow? No. It it missable? Quite honestly, it can be for most adults.
However, if you’ve got kids who love cars, they are bound to have a blast driving these cars.
And, it’s even more fun (and pretty) when you ride Tomorrowland Speedway at night, and you can admire all the lights.
15. Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover
Highlights: Slow, behind-the-scenes ride
Location: Tomorrowland
This is a chilled 10-minute Disney World attraction, which takes you behind the scenes of popular attractions, including:
- Space Mountain
- Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
- Star Traders retail store.
If you want to sit and enjoy a little break from the humidity or chaos (or both), you’ll probably find an appreciation for the PeopleMover.
16. Under the Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid
Highlights: Slow ride
Location: Fantasyland
On Under the Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid, you get to sit in a seashell and step into one of the most popular Disney Princess stories.
You get to meet your favourite Little Mermaid characters (including Titan, Eric, and of course, Ariel). And, some villains (ahem, Ursula!).
Arguably, one of the best features of this ride is that it often has a short queue, and is sometimes a walk-on attraction!
17. Walt Disney World Railroad
Highlights: Relaxed train ride
Location: Stations at Main Street USA, Fantasyland and Frontierland
On the Walt Disney World Railroad, toy get to ride a laid-back 20-minute steam-powered train ride around the Magic Kingdom.
You’re little ones may enjoy riding the train, whilst you marvel at the history. After all, there are four steam trains – built between 1916 and 1928!
Walt Disney was a ‘train enthusiast’ (according to Disney’s site), which is how the railroad found its way into Magic Kingdom.
